I just did some searching and it appears that about 68 to 76 used the same gear box, and that 77-79 used another, and 80-87 used yet another.In my truck I have a pair of 10" subs behind bucket seats, adding more air space to the box from the console area. This adds a deeper harder bass due to the larger air space in the box. I currently have too much air space.
