Stability system disabled

After the truck (2002 Escalade EXT with 127K on it) was sitting for about 3-4 days when I started it the Stability System Disabled light was on, AND the Parking Brake light was on. After driving around the block a few times the lights shut off, then turned back on, then shut off... Now both lights stay on 100% of the time.
